HALEFO Scholarships
HALEFO proudly presents its 2021 Scholarship Awards. The scholarships are for children of active HALEFO members in good standing. HALEFO will award 2 Scholarships of $500 each.
Applications must be received no later than Monday, December 6, 2021. Winners will be selected based on the student’s GPA, report card and a personal statement. For questions contact Det. Claude Jean-Pierre at 516-770-5755.
To Qualify for a Scholarship

Member’s dues must be up to date

Applicant must be daughter or son of an active HALEFO member

Applicant must be a full-time student between the ages of 12 and 21

Official school transcript

A personal statement on life achievements and future goals written by the candidate
Remember to also submit a personal statement of the student's life achievements and future goals written by the candidate. The statement must be emailed separately by December 6, 2021. Include the student's full name and member's full name.
