ESS and Zelle Payment Instructions

ESS Payment

This option is only available to ACTIVE NYPD members.

It allows active NYPD members to easily pay their yearly HALEFO dues ($40) via the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal.

Steps to follow

  1. Visit www.nyc.gov/ess

  2. Enter your ESS User ID and password

  3. Browse to "Pay and Tax Information"

  4. Browse to "Deduction Information"

  5. Browse to "NYPD Fraternal Org Dues"

  6. Click "Enroll"

  7. Select "Haitian American Law Enf."

Zelle Payment

You will be required to upload a screenshot of the payment confirmation

Steps to follow

  1. Open your bank app or Zelle app and log into your account

  2. Submit the correct payment amount for your membership level to 917-957-9526

  3. Enter your name and the payment date in the Zelle memo field

  4. Take a screenshot of the payment confirmation
