Instructions for ESS, Zelle, and Check Payments
ESS Payment
This option is only available to ACTIVE NYPD members.
It allows active NYPD members to easily pay their yearly HALEFO dues ($40) via the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal.
Steps to follow

Visit www.nyc.gov/ess

Enter your ESS User ID and password

Browse to "Pay and Tax Information"

Browse to "Deduction Information"

Browse to "NYPD Fraternal Org Dues"

Click "Enroll"
-
Select "Haitian American Law Enf."
Zelle Payment
This option is available to all new HALEFO members and those renewing their HALEFO membership.
Steps to follow

Open your bank app or Zelle app and log into your account

Submit the correct payment amount for your membership level to 917-957-9526

Take a screenshot of the payment confirmation
Check Payment

Make the check payable to "HALEFO"

Enter the correct payment amount for your membership level

In the Memo field, enter your NYPD Tax Number or your Agency ID Number
